Complete Preparation Checklist Before Registration
Many people get stuck mid-registration because they aren't adequately prepared. Having the following items ready in advance lets you complete the entire process in under 30 minutes.
A Reliable Email Address
Your email is the core login credential for your Binance account and the primary channel for password recovery and security notifications. Here's what to consider:
Best choice: Gmail (@gmail.com) or Outlook (@outlook.com). These two email services have the highest success rates for receiving Binance verification codes, with virtually no delays or blocking issues.
Usable but not recommended: QQ Mail, 163 Mail. These services occasionally route Binance verification emails to spam or block them entirely. If you only have a domestic email, keep an eye on your spam folder during registration.
Do not use temporary or corporate email addresses — recovering your account later will be extremely difficult.
A Phone Number That Can Receive SMS
If you choose to register with a phone number, you'll need one that can receive SMS verification codes. Mainland China numbers (+86) are supported.
Even if you register with an email, binding a phone number later is a recommended security measure.
ID Documents (For KYC Verification)
You'll need to complete identity verification (KYC) immediately after registration, or most features will be unavailable. Mainland China users should prepare one of the following:
- National ID card (most common): Both front and back must be clearly photographed
- Passport: An alternative if your ID card isn't convenient
Photo requirements:
- Shoot in well-lit conditions
- Ensure all four corners of the document are fully visible and not covered by fingers
- Avoid glare (don't shoot directly under strong lights)
- Photos should be clear and not blurry
We recommend taking the photos on your phone in advance so you can upload them directly during the KYC step.
A Stable Network Connection
Binance's registration page may load slowly in some regions. Make sure your network can access the Binance website properly. If the page won't load, you may need to adjust your network settings.
Complete Registration Steps
Step 1: Open the Registration Page
Go to the Binance registration page through this registration link. Registering through a referral link automatically gives you a permanent 20% trading fee discount.
Step 2: Fill In Your Registration Info
The page offers two options: "Email Registration" and "Phone Registration." Here's the email registration process:
- Enter your email address
- Set a password (at least 8 characters with uppercase + lowercase letters + numbers)
- If you entered through a referral link, the referral code will be pre-filled — no manual input needed
- Check the box to agree to the Terms of Service
- Click "Create Account"
Step 3: Complete Email Verification
Binance will send a verification email with a 6-digit code. Enter this code on the registration page to complete account creation.
The code is valid for 30 minutes. If you don't receive it, click "Resend" and check your spam folder.
Step 4: Enable 2FA
The first thing to do after successful registration is enabling two-factor authentication. Go to "Security Center" → "Google Authenticator" → follow the instructions to scan and bind. This is the most critical measure for protecting your account from theft.
Step 5: Complete KYC Verification
Go to the "Identity Verification" page, select your nationality and document type, upload your ID photos, and complete facial recognition (just nod and blink at your phone's front camera). Review typically takes between 30 minutes and a few hours.
